With WhatsApp, users can create groups
and chat with multiple people at the same time, share photos, videos,
documents, and voice messages, and make voice and video calls. WhatsApp also
offers end-to-end encryption for all messages, which means that only the sender
and the recipient can read the messages.

WORKING ON NEW FEATURES AND UPDATES:
In
the competitive world, Meta's instant messaging platform, WhatsApp has working
effectively on its features and updates. WhatsApp has announced an update in
the starting of this month with features that allow its users to hide their
last seen status from selected contacts, Unread filter to check the unopened
messages and more.
FEATURE OF EDITING THE SENT MESSAGE:
A recent report by WABetaInfo, states that the testing of a new feature takes place to let users edit their messages until 15 minutes before they have sent, as same as the edit button works on Apple’s iMessage app.
The edit feature may be used, if you want to fix any spelling or grammatical mistakes or add or remove some information. The feature is still under development but was recently spotted on WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.4.0.72, released for those enrolled in the TestFlight program.
HOW TO EDIT WHATSAPP MESSAGES?
Editing
WhatsApp messages is a straightforward process. All you have to do is follow
the steps below,
- Open the WhatsApp conversation in which you want to edit a message.
- Tap and hold the message you want to edit.
- Select the “Edit” option from the menu.
- Make the changes you want and tap the “Done” button.
- Your changes will be saved, and the edited message will be displayed in the conversation.
The feature is currently under development and will make its existence once when they get ready to launch its final stage of upgradation.
