JIO LAUNCHED 4G MOBILE @ RS 999

RELIANCE JIO HAS LAUNCHED INDIA’S LOWEST PRICE MOBILE PHONE AT JUST RS 999 ACCESSED WITH 4G INTERNET.

On 3^rd July 2023, a thoughtful plan of JioBharat mobile phone at just RS 999 enabled with 4G internet access has been released by Reliance Jio and the motive behind this launch is to make every Indian to get internet access at affordable cost under ‘2G Mukt Bharat’ vision (The plan to offer affordable internet access at the top notch Jio 4G network to the customers still using 2G technology).

1 MILLION AS TRIAL

As an initial, On 7^th July 2023, the beta trial for the first 1 million JioBharat phones has came into existence. About 250 million people still have lack in access of internet and stuck in 2G technology, said Reliance Jio chairman Akash Ambani.

FEATURES AND ACCESSES

They did not specify any detailed feature about the new launched mobile phone but has revealed some like the mobile phone will be with appearance of regular feature phone, a small screen and a physical keypad, with two colour options Red and Blue.

People can make UPI payments through the new launched JioBharat mobile phone using JioPay application and can enjoy the experience of movies and tv shows using Jio Cinema application, JioSaavn application with access to vast library of 8 crores songs and some basic applications like FM radio, torchlight etc.

The Budget friendly mobile has been launched with the monthly plan of RS 123 for unlimited voice calls and 14Gb data. The monthly plan is 30% cheaper and 7 times more data compared to the access of other feature phones.

It will be available for sale at Reliance digital stores, Jio retail outlets, and other retail outlets throughout the country.
