INTRODUCTION:

A major material that decides and structures the individual’s journey of life, is nothing other than Money. In accordance with Money, people won’t create diversity, discrimination, divisions, separations among any as well.  The value and the importance of that material won’t get reduce in any country throughout the world.  In the early days, barter system ruled moreover the regions for the exchange of commodities and the transition begins over the period with the invention of paper material called Money and now it is a currency that ruling all over the world effectively.


CURRENCY NAMES AND SYMBOLS MAKES IDENTIFICATION:

As we know, Money won’t make diversity and discrimination; but it has different names, textures, colours, symbols in every country for its own identification. Here, let us make a glance on the different symbols and names of some major countries’ currencies with clear view.


CURRENCIES OF DIFFERENT COUNTRIES:

INDIA – RUPEE

  • Indian Rupee (INR).

  • One Indian Rupee Consists of 100 Paise.
  • The symbol was designed by Udaya Kumar, a postgraduate in Design from Indian Institute of Technology.


UNITED STATES OF AMERICA – DOLLAR

  • United States Dollar (USD).
  • Symbol of US Dollar - $
  • A Dollar is made up of 100 cents.
  • The symbol was designed by Oliver Pollock, Louisiana businessman in 1778.


SWITZERLAND – FRANC

  • Swiss Franc.
  • Symbol of Swiss Franc - Fr and CHF (internationally)
  • Each Franc divided into 100 rappen.
  • The code of Swiss Franc issued by the Swiss National Bank.


EUROPE – EURO 

  • Euro is the official currency of 19 out of 27 member states in the European Union (EU).
  • Symbol of Euro - €
  • The Euro is divided into 100 cents.
  • It was designed by the European commission in 1996.


JAPANESE – YEN

  • Yen (JPY) is the official currency of  Japan.
  • Symbol of Yen - ¥
  • The Yen is divided into 100 Sen.
  • In 1890, the old Japanese currency became legal tender and was known as Yen.


MEXICAN – PESO

  • Mexican Peso is the currency of Mexico.
  • Symbol of Peso - $, Code – MXN.
  • The Peso is subdivided to 100 centavos.
  • The Modern Peso and Dollar have a common origin in the 16th and 17th century.


SOUTH AFRICA – RAND

  • South African Rand (ZAR) is the National currency of South Africa.
  • Symbol of Rand – R
  • The Rand is divided into 100 Cent.
  • It was introduced in February 1961.


EGYPTIAN – POUND

  • The Pound is the official currency of Egypt.
  • Symbol of Pound - £, Code – EGP.
  • It is divided into 100 piastres.
  • Egyptian currency was issued by Khedival decree in 1834.


These major countries’ currencies, decides the financial and economic situations all over the world.  More than this, there were many countries which may play a vital role in the world economy.  Its increase and decrease in value will hardly impact the imports and exports of major business agreements of many countries which may lead to both inflation and deflation. Thus, Money is the most important element in the world that can bring down any of the top country to a bottom level and can also make a country below poverty line to the top position.
